Dating women with baggage
I guess I just wanted to hear confirmation that at least a couple of people wouldn't see it as a dealbreaker.
I also realise that it's probably going to affect I also have a stoma, and I think I can get a direct answer here: How did it affect sex? I'm generally able to handle my medical issues quite well, but for the life of me I can't imagine someone finding me sexy.
Either way, he has a great attitude, and if I were in the market for a partner and I met a guy with a similar disposition, it wouldn't bother me. I think if we just started to go out it would be a turn off for me and unless you were super awesome I would pass.
If, however, he acted like it was this awful thing that required near constant pity and attention, I'd be totally disinterested. If I got to know and like you first I think I would be more inclined to accept it.
Yeah, I have a reasonably high tolerance for medical issues in general, so I don't think it would prevent me from dating someone.
